Lord Krishna And Arjuna conversation in Kurukshetra war is popularly known as Shrimad Bhagavat Gita . Lord Krishna also told about Saankhya Yog , Bhakti Yog and
Karma Yog .
Lord Krishna told to Arjuna who supports adharma (or) evil should be killed in this war .
Shrimad Bhagavat Gita explains about how a person should live his life.
Lord Krishna had a big brother named Balarama who is considered as Avatar of
Adishesha ( or ) Adisesha ( or ) Sheshnaag . Lord Krishna along with his brother killed Kamsa's
demons in Gokul and Vrindavan .

Karmanye vadhika raste, Ma phaleshu kadachana
Ma karma phala he tur bhuh, ma te sangotsva karmanye ( or ) karmanee
In the meaning of 1st shloka Lord Krishna told to Arjuna that whenever there is rise in
adharma ( or ) evil he will be born in every yuga ( or ) he will take Avatars in every yuga
and establish dharma , peace and harmony for the welfare of the people .
The meaning of second shloka is that human beings should do only work ( or ) karma and he should
not worry about the results ( or ) phala.
Lord Krishna is also called as Lord Govardhan ( or ) Govardhan Giridhaari ( or ) Giridhar.
The reason behind Lord Krishna is called as Lord Govardhan ( or ) Giridhar is he lifted Govardhan Mountain ( or ) Govardhan Hill ( or ) Govadhan Parvat with his little finger and provided shelter to the people of Gokul and Vrindavan . By lifting Govardhan Hill with his little finger Lord Krishna destroyed the ego of Lord Indra who is the god of rains .
Vishwaroopa Darshanam ( or ) Vishwaroop Darshan:-
Lord Krishna showed his Vishwaroopam to Arjuna in the battlefield . By Seeing Lord
Krishna's Vishwaroopam ( or ) Lord Krishna's Vishwaroop Arjuna understood that he is the only supreme god in the universe .
The Place where Kurukshetra battle , Shrimad Bhagavat Gita Expalination to Arjuna and Vishwaroopa Darshanam took place is now present in Punjab .
Lord Krishna had two mothers and two fathers so krishna is also called as Devakinandan ( Devaki - who gave birth to Krishna ) and Yashodanandan
( Yashoda - who raised Krishna ) . In gokul Lord Krishna is also called as Maakhan Chor beacause Krishna would steel the butter from every house of
Gokul ( or ) Gokulam .
Arjuna and the rest of his brothers ( Pandavas ) emerged victorious in Mahabharath war with Lord Krishna being on their side ( or ) being on pandavas side .
Although there was a strong relation between Lord Krishna and Arjuna , Subhadra Sister of Lord Krishna married Arjuna so the relation between him and Arjuna became stronger . Lord Krishna told to Arjuna that he is only paramathma who exists in all the living beings .
Lord Krishna had a weapon named Sudarshan Chakra ( or ) Sudarshan Chakram by which he killed Sishupaala his own relative . He raises his Sudarshan Chakra when there is only an emergency. The Sudarshan Chakra was given by Lord Parashurama - the axe warrior and who is also a rishi ( or ) saint . Lord Parashurama is considered as 6th Avatar of Lord Vishnu ( or ) Lord Narayana.
